User Interface: Coming to the user interface for iPhone it has a virtual keyboard on the touch screen it is very easy and quick for some people who like the touch screen but for some people it’s just frustration.
Coming to Google phone G1 it has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard as well as a pleasingly responsive touch screen. This has got both the physical keyboard and virtual touch screen keyboard. This is the advantage for a G1 over an iPhone.
Navigation: iPhone uses Google Maps to find location and to plan a route simplicity, and certainly it is one of the best phone-based satellite navigation systems.
But coming to G1 phone google maps are better in G1 than on the iPhone.
Platform Development: Apple’s software is very good one but it’s locked down. The applications and all softwares should be approved by Apple.
Coming to G1, Android is the operating system in G1 and it is open source, meaning anyone can write and distribute software for the platform without the need for approval.
Design: Coming to the look and feel of Apple iPhone, it’s very slim and very attractive than Google G1 phone.
